While there are many different paths you can take to making money with Affiliate Programs online, it is not as easy as the so-called professionals say it is, but it can be done. Infact, many people are doing it and making a large impact on their incomes.

Did you know that the largest mistake that people make with affiliate programs is that they join too many programs at one time. This is the number one reason why affiliates do not make enough money online. Be sure not to fall into the same category as those people.

Having studied affiliate marketing for some time now, one thing that is learned quickly si that promotion methods can and do change every day. We will provide you with a few things that you will and should learn to get the edge in the affiliate market:

· You will need to learn what programs to stay away from and how to choose an affiliate program that is right for you.

· Find out from others what works and what does not work, many times you will have to test things for yourself. Trial and error works, and when someone else has already done it, then this becomes easier for you.

· Find out from others in forums, which programs are high paying and are working the best.

· Do not waste your time on programs that are just starting out.

· It is not easy, you will have to work if you intend to make money.

· Find as many resources as possible and read and learn about what others are doing.

· Determine the amount of time that you can spend each day or week promoting your affiliate programs.

· If you have a job, it is recommended that you continue working until you are at a comfortable income level to…

ClickBank has a remarkable affiliate program. ClickBank is both a payment processor and an affiliate network. ClickBank is an affiliate program manager as well, and it is very easy to sign up as an affiliate with them. All you need is to register with ClickBank, it does not cost one penny, and is open to websites located in any part if the world.
Affiliates can earn anywhere from 5% to 50% commission on sales of products. This is dependent upon what they link to. There are hundred of merchants to choose from with over 10,000 products and services. There are definitely niche merchants within ClickBank.
Linking to a ClickBank merchant has it advantages; such as you know you will be credited for all sales that go through the ClickBank network as the tracking is automated as part of the payment processing. One benefit of linking to ClickBank is that you will receive credit if the customer doesn’t buy immediately. What this means is that if the customer comes from your link and decides not to buy, but changes his mind later and purchases, you will receive the credit on the commission, no matter how he got back to the site. This is controlled by cookies, which are maintained for 90 days after the initial click-through.
Once you join you will select a nickname, after that part is complete you will browse through the ClickBank Marketplace to select products to sell as an affiliate. ClickBank will provide you with the URL for each program using your nickname.
The other option is to use ClickBank as a merchant.

As a merchant (vendor or seller) you can set up an account for a one-time fee. ClickBank let’s you set up a sales and thank-you page and list that in their database. After they have approved your…

Google® Adsense® can be a great tool for making money. Blogs are also becoming a great tool for making money. Many people know that the most profitable position to place Google® Adsense® ads is inline with your article text. The dilemna many of us face is that the Google® Adsense® Terms of Service only allow 3 ad blocks per page. The reason this is a problem for bloggers is that most blogs show more than three posts on the main page or in the archives section of the site. When this is the case you can’t post an article Google® Adsense® in the article.

While setting up my wife and her friend’s new site (www.naturalfamilynews.com), I came up with a trick using JavaScript to fix that problem. The code I wrote works perfectly in WordPress, but you should be able to adapt it to any blog that uses templates.

Step 1. In the head section of the template (between the <head> and </head> tags), you insert the following JavaScript code:

<script> var temp=0; </script>

Step 2. Go to the template used to display your post (in WordPress the main template). Then insert the following code inside the display area for the post:

<script> if (temp>2) document.write(”<div style=’visibility:hidden;height=1px;font-size:0;display:none’>”); </script>

Step 3 Insert your Google® Adsense® code directly following the </script> tag that you inserted in Step 2 above.

Step 4 Insert the following code after the </script> tag from the Google® Adsense® code you inserted in step 3 :

<script> if (temp>2) document.write(”</div>”); temp++; </script>

Step 5. Save your changes and test it out.

What this does is create a new DIV section in your code that is hidden if it appears more than three times on the page. So only three ads will appear on any page. If you use Google® Adsense® in other places in your blog,…
