If you want to make money online, I can help.  That’s exactly what I do for a living and I can show you what to do, and more importantly, what not to do.  Affiliate marketing is the online business I have, actually I have several of them.  I made a ton of mistakes when I first started out which meant it took me that much longer to start making any money online.  If you follow some simple advice you can learn from my mistakes, not make the same mistakes, and start making money much more quickly than I did.

Here are the 3 basic components to a successful online business. Of course I don’t have room here to go into great detail, but this overview will provide you with a starting point:

1. Learn the skills you need to have a successful online business.  This is an easy business to start and grow, but it does have several aspects to it and you need to know what those aspects are as well as the best way to put it all together.  

It wasn’t until I got serious, joined an online classroom and learned the skills I needed, then put those skills into practice on a consistent basis that I started making my first money online.  I’ve never looked back and I’m still a member and still learning things to make my businesses bigger and better…. in other words, make even more money.

2. Find a product or service that you want to promote.  If you don’t go through step 1, you may very well do this step incorrectly.  Most people make the mistake of picking out a product to sell first.  That is backwards.  You want to find a group of people who are so passionate about a certain subject that they will buy virtually anything they can find on that subject.  This is a niche market, and finding a good niche is like money in the bank.

Once you find that niche you can promote that product and work on your business until it starts making you money, this step can be done in as little as a month if you work at it.  Once you’ve got your first niche site making a steady stream of income, you can, if you want, move on to another niche.  You can do that as many times as you want and you can make as much money as you want.

3. Automate and outsource your existing sites so that they can hum along making you money while you spend your time elsewhere.  At this point you will have an ongoing steady income so that you can either start more niche websites, take a vacation, or do whatever you want to do.  

Once you’ve got your sites set up, if you’ve done it properly, they will take very little additional effort to keep them making money for you.  That is the true value of learning the skills and starting this type of business.  Not only can you make a lot of money, you can have a lot of time freedom as well.

Follow these simple steps to make money online.  Don’t get taken by all the shiny new things and offers you’ll get.  Follow these steps, stay focused on your business, treat it like a business, and you can make more money in a month than most people can make in a year, and you can do it all from home.
