There are several social networks that webmaster are using, and suggesting to their clients to use, to increase online marketing exposure. We talked about Twitter in yesterdays article, and how it can help you generate traffic to your web site. There have been many networks of this nature that has cropped up, and many have come and gone. I’m sure there will be many more that will spring up over time. Today we want to share with you some information about the most popular social network program today: Facebook.
One of the advantages of Facebook, in addition to keeping in touch with your family and friends, you can actually promote your business. Whether your business is a product or service, you can use Facebook to your advantage in any of your marketing campaigns.
Some experts feel that within a very short time, it is possible that Facebook, Twitter and other major social networking organization will actually bring more traffic to a web site than Google. The jury is still out, on this claim. The social networking sites have a specific function, and the search engine, have a totally different purpose, when it comes to marketing. Each can be strong in their own right, or can be used in conjunction with existing strategies you presently use in your business.
Like anything else in our society, all things don’t work the same for all people. Facebook may work wonders for some people, while with others, it doesn’t work at all.
